I listen to music very loudly in my headphones and sing/scream silently while walking my dog on the streets.
Every now and then I share the songs I listen to on my mastodon profile. When I do this, I take care to remove the identifying information that YouTube has started putting in all the URLs that we share from its video or music platforms.
To remove it is easy, just delete the part that has the code “&si=xxxx…”. This is the identifying and tracking information that YouTube forcibly places in all the URLs of the materials we share from its platforms.
I recommend that you also remove this information whenever you share something from there.
